Lydia started her working life as a kitchen assistant for Whitbread Inns in Cheltenham and moved up the ranks to Chef/Supervisor for a very busy establishment. Although she enjoyed the fast pace of catering she decided to leave the heat of the kitchen and move into an office environment as an Office Manager for SLS Training. During the four years there she became a Work Placement Coordinator and basic skills advisor for unemployed people throughout Gloucestershire.
In 2004 she went travelling for a little while and ended up staying away for fourteen months, including 11 months in Australia, where she spent some time in Sydney as a Project Coordinator for RAMS Homeloans.
Since returning to the UK, Lydia has been involved in a variety of projects including the promotion of an award winning wine merchant. In 2007 she moved with her boyfriend up to Manchester to enjoy the city life.
Lydia is Office Manager for ?What If ! Manchester and looks after the venue bookings and catering for sessions and meetings.
