Born and bred in Scotland, Gordon's passions are people, and sport. Graduating in Biochemistry from Glasgow University, he then spent time abroad in the United States and Australia where he worked as a carpenter, painter, and school teacher.
Gordon returned to the UK to work with Unilever in Brand Marketing, selling margarine and tea (among other things). He came across ?What If! in 1999 and joined them that year before moving to Australia in August 2001 to set up and run an Australian office.
His focus is working with clients to develop their innovation capability and he has experience from across a breadth of industries with clients including Coca-Cola, Fosters, RBS, HSBC, Microsoft, Canon, Diageo, Unilever and Astra Zeneca. He loves the variety of cultural experiences found in working internationally work and has worked in every continent around the world (with the exception, to date, of Antarctica).
Gordon is married to Lorraine and they have three wee boys called Alasdair, Finlay & Niven. His dream job is centre forward for a world cup winning Scotland football team but he would settle for Des Lynam's old job at a push.
