Anouk Kooijmans

Born into a family of entrepreneurs, Anouk's inherited interest and passion for creativity and innovation led her to complete a Masters in Business Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her first job was as a Financial Controller, in the creative world of magazines. Soon, however, she realised that finance wasnąt for her and instead worked as consultant for Ernst & Young, taking great pleasure in helping a wide variety of organisations cracking their business challenges.

She left consultancy when her father asked her to take charge of the family business. For 5 years she managed NOMAD, the biggest outdoor brand in the Netherlands. In 2002 it was time for a new challenge anshe handed NOMAD over to her brother and came to Asia with her family, where she started her training career.

From Singapore to Shanghai, Anouk has trained almost every nationality in the region. Companies she has worked with include Philips, Unilever, DHL, APL, Continental, OCBC, Swiss RE and Rabobank.

Anouk joined the ?What If! Shanghai office in 2008 as part of the global capability team and continues to spread her passion for people and learning across Asia. When she's not delighting our clients in preparing or delivering workshops, she loves to explore the outdoors on small or big adventures in the Asia region, with her husband and their two children.
