Cara Thomas

Cara has always been curious, especially when it comes to people and why they do what they do. She loves exploring the opinions (and homes, cars, closets and bathroom cabinets) of consumers around the world - mix that with the creativity of crafting new products for them, and she's in heaven.

At ?What If!, Cara has had the privilege of rummaging through the homes of consumers around the world to crack challenges for companies like Sanofi-Aventis, Nestle and Kimberly-Clark. Prior to becoming a ?What If!'er, she explored trends and developed products and positionings at Consumer Dynamics for companies like Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson and Wyeth.

In her pre-consulting life, she explored her people curiosities through a political lens at the Aspen Institute, a non-profit organization. Prior to that, she studied International Relations at Brown, where she focused on exploring cultural behaviours and political and national identities.

Cara can often be found perusing the aisles of the grocery store like a museum, and her current curiosities include boxing, interior design and finding the best frozen yogurt in NYC.
