Alex Runne is a Senior Inventor at ?What If!, and he's always up for a big challenge. Alex has worked in both the US and UK offices of ?What If!, and is currently based out of London. He has tackled innovation challenges all over the world, from the successful reinvention of Britain's oldest mutual, to creating a new financial services proposition for affluent consumers in Latin America, to developing the next generation of baby care products and kids' board games.
Prior to joining ?What If!, Alex spent years in Account Management and Brand Planning at Leo Burnett and DDB, building great, big brands including Lipton, Knorr, Hertz, Pepsi and Hershey's. Alex received his undergraduate degree in Art History from Haverford College, and then his graduate degree in the same from the University of Oxford. His passions include eating, cooking and kayaking (the latter largely to offset the first two). He lives in East London, and is frequently startled by the dangerously fast cyclists and near-nightly fireworks that are lit in the park in front of his home.
