Forum for the Future - Low carbon living in 2022

?What If!er Anne-Fay Townsend has contributed to trend forecasters Forum for the Future's report on Low Carbon Living in 2022.

According to the report, a low carbon Britain doesn't have to mean cutbacks and sacrifice. Climate change is an enormous challenge. But if we respond in the right way, many of the changes we make could improve our quality of life.

Forum for the Future have explored how UK lifestyles will need to change in the next 15 years to become low carbon lifestyles. The result is a set of visions for local carbon living. They are placed in 2022, far enough in the future for some new technologies to have become available and for progressive policies to be put in place, but similar enough to today to be recognisable.

Their findings are now available online. Go to Low Carbon Living 2022 Website
