?What If! to help deliver major new government initiative promoting social entrepreneurship

?What If! were delighted to be named as part of the team delivering the Social Enterprise Ambassadors Programme, which launched today (24th July) by the Prime Minister Gordon Brown, the Minster for the Cabinet Office Ed Miliband, and Phil Hope - Minister for the Third Sector. The Ambassadors Programme aims to create a culture of social entrepreneurship in the UK, it will use the Ambassador's stories to get people understanding, supporting and joining this exciting movement to create social change.

Today's event will signal the start of the recruitment drive to find 20 Ambassadors from around the country. These inspiring individuals will be joined by a further 10 household names who also work in the social enterprise world. The Ambassadors Programme is led by The Social Enterprise Coalition, and supported by ?What If!, Society Media/ Social Enterprise Magazine, The School for Social Entrepreneurs, New Economics Foundation, Hanover Corporate Communications Consultancy and Media Training Master classes.
